onward and upward
doing lots of training, but today went out for a relatively short ride - 16 miles - and it was horrible. Felt like a beetle climbing up a mountain as I biked out on the hill from Nancledra. Not an encouraging ride.

Peace Direct
I've now got to 40% of the money I'm trying to raise for Peace Direct. Here's some interesting stats about what Peace Direct achieved last year.
Feel that I’m getting back my endurance legs. Yesterday I went for a 24 mile bike ride and in my mind it was a short ride. Last Saturday i did a 65 mile ride that included 4200 feet of climbing (for comparison, Snowdon is around 3500 feet high) – so looks like everything is going according to plan.

sponsorship is going up
I've almost reached a £1000 in my sponsorship, which is great. It's stedily going up and I've had sponsorship money from some unlikely sources, and lots of people have promised me it but not done anything yet.
